Regular opportunities are provided to the students in the form of competitions conducted by the respective Departments. Programs such as debates, elocution, essay writing and lecture contests are integral part of the Fest.

Sports plays a prominent part in the life of the College. It provides a range of sporting activities. The College has produced a number of achievers at the State, National and International level.

The creative energies of the students are kindled by the activities conducted by the departments through their respective associations through the year. Some of them are Dead journalists society, COMPACT, COSMA, PHOENIX, Srujana Kannada Sangha, Sansruthi, Bishop Cotton Women's Christian Management Association etc.

To enhance literary skill and creativity of the students, our quarterly newsletter 'Perspetives' is published. Department of journalism publishes its own departmental magazine '2 CENTS WORTH'.

The college has a tradition of visiting charity organizations once a year. Voluntary contributions are made by the staff and students towards these organizations. This tradition is carried out in order to create awareness among the students about the underprivileged in our society.

Certain number of seats are reserved for NRI students and overseas students. Students from nearly 40 countries study in various courses. There is an active overseas students cell which helps the international students with the internal legal problems, helping them to find the right place to stay and organizing international students meet frequently.
